Our History

CHL Direct, the wholesale division of Citizens Home Loan, Inc. (CHL) was incorporated in Charlotte, North Carolina in June, 2002. Its principals bring a combined 75 years of financial and investment management experience to the company and its vision. The principals of CHL are former banking and insurance company executives and president, experienced distribution leaders, experienced broker-dealer principals, principals with the NASD, owners of one of the largest independent broker-dealer/investment advisory firms in the country, Fellows of the Society of Actuaries, Members of the American Academy of Actuaries, and designed most of the insurance industry’s innovative proprietary product .
